1. Description of Service

City Planner is a mobile application that uses location data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to suggest nearby activities and generate personalized travel itineraries. The App relies on third-party APIs (including Google Maps and OpenAI) to fetch data and generate content.

2. Artificial Intelligence and Content Accuracy

The itineraries, descriptions, and suggestions provided by the App are generated by Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI). While we strive for accuracy by cross-referencing data with mapping services:

  1. No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the AI-generated content.

  2. Verification Required: Opening hours, prices, locations, and the very existence of points of interest may change. You are strongly advised to independently verify all critical information before traveling or making bookings.

  3. Disclaimer of Liability: We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages, losses, or inconveniences (such as closed venues, delayed trips, or inaccurate maps) resulting from your reliance on the App's AI-generated content.

3. User Conduct and Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App's source code, algorithms, or API connections.

  • Submit queries to the AI generator that are offensive, violent, illegal, or violate OpenAI's usage policies.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The App offers a free version with limited features (e.g., 3 free AI generations) and a premium auto-renewing subscription ("Premium Pass") that unlocks unlimited features and global access (Passport Mode).

By subscribing, you agree to the following terms, which comply with Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA):

  • Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.

  • Auto-Renewal: The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

  • Account Charging: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price displayed in the App.

  • Management & Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store Account Settings on your iPhone after purchase. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.

  • Refunds: All payments are processed by Apple. Any request for a refund must be submitted directly to Apple App Store Customer Service. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its design, interface, code, graphics, and original content, are the exclusive property of City Planner. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services (such as Google Places, Apple Maps, RevenueCat, and OpenAI). Your use of these integrated features may also be subject to the respective terms and conditions of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these external services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document or by providing an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
